Shelley Parker of North Wiltshire District Council has been appointed as the Project Manager for the development of the Area Board for the Wootton Bassett & Cricklade Community Area.

Shelley has been working as a Community Partnership Officer for the District Council in the Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Community Area since 2004. In that time she has been supporting the development of the Northern Community Area Partnership (NCAP) as well as coordinating the Council’s Community Area Award Scheme which funds local projects.

Shelley will continue to work closely with NCAP and with a Task Group that has been established to look at shaping the new Area Board. She is hoping to work from Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Town Council Offices for one day a week and she is looking forward to hearing from those who would like to be involved in developing this exciting new way of working and is keen to learn more about the local area and its issues.
