Area Board for Chippenham

Victoria Welsh of North Wiltshire District Council (NWDC) has been appointed as the Project Manager for the development of the Area Board in the Chippenham & Villages community area.

Victoria has worked for NWDC as a Community Partnership Officer for a number of years, supporting the work of ChAP (Chippenham Area Partnership) and CACP (Corsham Area Community partnership). Victoria also co-ordinated North Wiltshire District Council's Community Funding Award Scheme which supports local community projects.

Whilst continuing to work closely with ChAP, Victoria's new role involves working with a newly formed Area Board Task Group for Chippenham & Villages community area. The Area Board Task Group will focus on developing methods to provide local people with more opportunities to influence local decision making by the new unitary authority. Victoria is based at North Wiltshire District Council’s Monkton Park offices, and looks forward to hearing from anyone with any comments or questions.
