Objectives

To provide specialist property advice to the transition programme teams and develop appropriate property strategies to support the delivery of front and back office services for the new Authority.

Main areas of work

  • Adaptation of existing office strategies to reflect the requirements of the new Council.
  • Involvement in the review and design process for front line service development.
  • Cross-cutting role providing property related advice and support to all work-stream areas.
  • Representation on the One Council for Wiltshire Programme Group.

Current Activity

Early discussions taking place with DC property colleagues to ensure joint consideration of a number of medium and long term strategic projects and key property issues which could have a significant impact on the new council.
